👀 #004: Music, Art, Real Estate are all going "Phygital"
Galaxy Digital and TIMEPiece NFT Collection airdrop on Oct.14, NYC Office building sold as NFT, Christie's 3.0 launched, SAN Sound music ecosystem, Christina Aguilera files for NFT trademarks ...
Happy Monday everyone!
Since starting the weekly newsletter, I’ve been reached out quite a few times from people asking about Web3 educational materials, how to self-start a project, how to find reliable engineers, how to find artists and creators for collaboration….. All these are great questions that I have struggled with during the process of building BOLTBOLT’s Original Nebula Collection. Now that we are at the final development stage of the project and will be launching soon, I want to share a couple of lessons, insights, and stories behind it. For the past week, I’ve been putting together resources and self-study guides for aspiring builders from technical and non-technical backgrounds, covering topics like “what’s the full development cycle and workflow for building an NFT project from end to end”, “the alternatives of building a full-stack NFT project if you are not technical”, “development cost and timeline” …..
Look interesting? Stay tuned! The guides and stories will be out very soon.
🗽Reminder: NYC Tech Week is happening this week. Look for a selection of Web3 events towards the end of today’s newsletter.

🏢 A real-life office building in New York City is sold as an NFT. The real estate development company Azul NYC acquired the office building located at 44 West 37th Street for 1 ETH on Opensea in addition to a “sizeable undisclosed sum” to the building developer, Integrated Projects. Being the very first building NFT, 44W37 is an interesting implementation on how blockchain utility can turn tangible property like real estate to be “phygital.”
🎨 Christie’s launched an NFT auction platform - Christie’s 3.0. The on-chain auction platform is dedicated to exceptional NFT-based art. Currently, there are only 9 artworks available for bid on the website. In addition to the 2D presentation, there is also a 3D Virtual Gallery for anyone to enter and view the artwork hanging on the walls in the VR environment.
🎹 SANSOUND - music-centric NFT ecosystem with a multi-phase reveal strategy. Combing illustration and sound together the SAN NFT was released as a free mint and the actual NFT art is hidden. On Oct 8, SANSOUND hosted a reveal party where the artwork become visible with rarity also shown on Opensea. Following the reveal, the next phase is “Soulbinding” where payment is required when the holder wishes to “Soulbind”, minting the NFT permanently with a wallet in exchange for access and utility in the SAN Sound platform and ecosystem.
